invasion from upper foliage.

クスノキ樹高18m 幹周C237cm(DBH胸高直径）
交差点信号そばに植栽されちたが腐朽が進み
危険樹木として伐採された。

所見：

上部(190cm)の大枝切断面に大型のカワラタケ
（Ganoderma applanatum)の子実体が寄生。
大枝切断面から病害菌が侵入したと思われる。
普通切断面保護の塗布材などが使われる。
内部の空洞は大きく10cmの壁が残るのみ。
3D断層画像で垂直方向の腐朽分布を見れば
病害菌は上部から侵入したことがわかる。

on　nondestructive evaluation of wood materials,

ranging from standing trees, logs, and lumber

to wood structures like historic wooden ships

and timber buildings.

Scientific information will be presented on

acoustic, transverse vibration,

near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy,

ultrasound, and tomography techniques.
