Q1: Advise measurement principle of

PiCUS Sonic Tomograph especially kind of

speed measurement.

Does PiCUS measure Absolute time of flight

between Sensors?



A: Yes PiCUS measures the

Absolute Propagation Time

between all the sensors and then

compares with most first speed (relatively)

of each points.

By this algorythm, PiCUS can exactly draw the

precise TOMOGRAM = distribution of wood density.

on　nondestructive evaluation of wood materials,

ranging from standing trees, logs, and lumber

to wood structures like historic wooden ships

and timber buildings.

Scientific information will be presented on

acoustic, transverse vibration,

near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy,

ultrasound, and tomography techniques.
